Challenge

COTY + the Calvin Klein brand team required supplementary Campaign, POS, OOH, and Digital/Social assets for the release of their annual CK One Summer fragrance, and they needed them fast. Hero shots using the elements of sand and sky had already been produced with an Advertising Agency, and the client did not want to pursue the same top-heavy process to delineate the concept for their new needs.

Solution

Dtouch Creative was able to seamlessly and resourcefully streamline and facilitate the production process from start to finish, cutting out the middle men and drastically reducing the production schedule and budget from where it would have been with a traditional agency. With our 360 degree turn-key capabilities, we were able to successfully art direct, art buy, produce, retouch, and accomplish pre-press for the client.

This approach allowed us to intelligently and artfully reinterpret the conceptual elements, and to communicate directly with the client, the brand team, and the marketing team on their exact needs so everyone’s requirements would be expertly tackled in the most time-efficient and cost-effective means possible.

Results

During the week of shooting, we were able to accomplish all 200 SKUs and an additional list of hopeful extras given the efficiency of the team. This included a group of unique, specialized swatches and individualized textures all within the existing timeframe. All images were delivered before deadline, including versioning of all color products, which lead to a successful market launch for ULTA and VDL together.
